"Babies can find mindfulness in their daily routines and improve communication to reduce conflict with caregivers," certified newborn life coach Nan Desjardins explained. "Can you really put a price on self-actualization for your little one? Yes, it's $200 an hour."
The newborn life coaching boom is the latest example of a rapid expansion in infant coaching services that have become available for parents in recent years. According to Abe Syzlak of Baby Trendz Magazine, there is apparently no aspect of infant life that isn't potentially coachable. "The generalists are now competing with increasingly niche coaching options, like power posing for shy premies and neuro-linguistic programming for colic. Did you give permission to someone to use your work or is someone ripping you off? I'm referring to https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/science-based-satire-florida-authorities-report-first-case-of-mosquito-borne-fentanyl-overdose/. Their use of "Mort Fishman" was a dead giveaway for me. I left a comment at that website (another blog I follow) asking the same question but days later it's still "in moderation."
The author of that delightful post is a close, personal acquaintance who I have come to rely on over the years whenever I need to get a job.
